Overcoming bad self esteem, not wanting to be seen, rejection and emotional eating | Noemie Demay

Published on: 24th January, 2022

"I didn’t like my body, had bad self esteem and was self sabotaging myself. In my early 20s I lived in a cycle of diet"

Noemi takes us through her transformation story of going from lack of self confidence to using food as medicine and helping others redefine their releationship with food and have the results they want.

For her not have self confidence looked like “Wanting to be very small, not wanted to be seen and constantly comparing myself"

You may wonder but what's the relationship between lack of confidence and dieting?

Well, Noemi puts it great words:

"By looking in a certain way I thought I would love what I would see in the mirror, so I went to this diet. Then the diet would not last long and then go back to my habits"

But then over time as she learnt about food and nutrioutiuos while helping her mom heal from precancerous cells, it became obvious to her that she didn’t want to hurt her body anymore, and that's when all changed.

She now works with clients and helps them release resistance preventing us from loosing the weight through a process of asking questions

Noemi also helps clients with emotional eating and feeling guilty; we cover how emotional eating is usually coming from feeling rejected and she then guides us through an ETF technique or commonly known as tapping so that we can release rejection and feel accepted.

Emotional eating is coming from feeling rejected.

It's a wonderful episode!

Hope do enjoy and please reach out if questions and comments
